all you so called friends contributed to the senseless death at a very early age of someone with great potential. How could you allow a young man die so young with your insidious behavior/ Shame on all of you so called friends............

All of us not so called friends, but true friends, realized in Jared the great potential of which you speak. We also realized some of his self-destructive behaviors and did everything we could to influence and help him make better choices. His death, ultimately, was not ours to allow or prevent, it was his.

If you truly believe you are right in your thinking, then I ask, what did you do to prevent this, Anonymous?

You can email me at jawsnyc@yahoo.com, anytime if you would like someone to talk to.

From Will of White Mice:

Our condolences to you, his friends and family, his band. I am sad to hear of the loss of such a genuine soul. We did not really know him very well personally, due to the distance between us, but we knew his heart and soul were strong and open to every celebration of life, adventure, music and humanity. You could sense all that was good and sincere about him when you met him. Some people help tie everything and everyone together, and work unselfishly to make it happen and share everything they can without reserve. When great people like Jared are lost, we all feel the vacuum in the wake of his life. Even in his passing he brings all of us who had the honor to meet him together, in memory of his spirit, no matter the distance. He was a guiding light and he will be remembered. We wish you all the best in difficult times.

This is so awful. I'm so sad. Who is 'anonymous'? What on earth are you doing, and what on earth can be gained from it? It is common knowledge that not much can be done with a grown man or woman and his/her choices. Shame on YOU for speaking as if he were a pawn who could not make choices for himself, and as if his death were the fault of those who loved him. "Insidious behavior"? And why is it always that destructive, petty instigators have poor grammar and remain anonymous?
He was loved, respected, and will be missed.

WTF, Anonymous? I am very upset by your message. This is not the time for the friends of Jared to be molested by the insenstive and ignorant thoughts of others. Please refrain from such comments as this is a very difficult time for everyone.

I knew Jared when he was a little boy in Holbrook, NY. Although I haven't seen him in many years, I will always remember him as.. funny, smart and a joy to be around. My condolences to his parents, brother and friends.
